Selection Process & Jurying (February 19 – March 1, 2025)

A. Jury Panel Composition

  • Curator/Organizer (Lead juror)

  • Local poet/writer (Ensuring literary relevance)

  • Professional artist or designer (Visual execution)

  • Museum/gallery representative (Curatorial perspective)

B. Selection Criteria

  1. Relevance to the Theme – How well the work interprets the relationship between art and words.

  2. Artistic Quality & Execution – Mastery of technique and medium.

  3. Originality & Creativity – Unique approach to integrating text.

  4. Cohesion – Works that contribute to a strong, unified exhibition narrative.

C. Notification Process (By March 5, 2025)

  • Accepted artists receive an email with:

    • Exhibition agreement and display requirements.

    • Shipping/drop-off details for artwork.

    • Press release template to promote their participation.

    Artists accepted into the exhibition must confirm their participation by March 14th, 2025.
