"Sasquatch" by Mary Joyce

This is a large installation piece that utilizes two black lights for the full effect. The artist found a silhouette of Bigfoot on the curb and was inspired to transform it into the biblical description of an angel, but absurd. The phrase "be not afraid" is one of the most common phrases in the Bible. It appears in both the Old and New Testaments.

Mary Joyce has been creating art since they were a child. Joyce paints, draws, sews, builds, crochets, cross stitches, and constructs with pretty much any medium. Their favorite thing to do is turn someone else’s trash into an artistic statement piece.
